Dear birth mother,
We are parents of five children with our oldest being Pedro. Together with his wife they are a good Christian couple and Cheryl is a very good hearted woman. They have indicated their desire to become parents which gives us great joy and we believe they are ready to do so because we know God is guiding them to achieve their goals, including the one of becoming loving parents. Pedro is highly esteemed by his brothers and sister. They love and respect him and they have always looked up to him especially his little fourteen year old brother. We have faith and hope in God that their dreams of becoming parents will come true and wish all the best to him and his wife Cheryl. We are looking forward to welcoming another little one to our family to love and to cherish.

Querida madre de nacimiento,
Somos padres de cinco hijos siendo el mayor Pedro el cual contrajo matrimonio con Cheryl. Son Cristianos y ella es una mujer muy honorable. Nos han comunicado su deseo de convertirse en padres lo cual nos da mucha alegría. Creemos que están listos para serlo ya que Dios les esta guiando a alcanzar sus metas, entre ellas siendo la de tener hijos. A Pedro lo añoran mucho sus hermanos. Lo quieren y lo respetan mucho ya que lo consideran un ejemplo para ellos especialmente su hermano pequeño que tiene catorce años. Tenemos fe en Dios que sus sueños de convertirse en padres se les va a hacer realidad y le deseamos todo lo mejor a el y a su esposa Cheryl. Dear Birth Mother,
We are happy to write to you and share the love we have for Cheryl and Pedro. Our family started with two sons and then we were blessed with our daughter Cheryl. She is very optimistic, encouraging, caring and a loyal friend. Through the years, when we went to weddings, parties or Church the babies were happy in her loving arms and they would cling to her and fall asleep–she has a natural touch.
Pedro is very kind and supportive to Cheryl. He has four younger siblings. Pedro is the one they come to for advice and guidance. He is understanding, patient and a good listener. He knows how to follow through on a task and is fun to be with. He has a playful side especially when interacting with little children as his nephew and niece.
We have stressed to all our children the importance of faith, family and friends. Cheryl and Pedro demonstrate these values and live them by the lives they lead. They both have great compassion in the work that they do, they are practicing Catholics and love animals. They enjoy being in nature and love hiking at the National Parks.
We will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in 2015. Our other young grandchildren are excited to play with a new cousin. We live very close to Cheryl and Pedro. We enjoy many good times together–dinners, parties, family fun and vacations. We just recently retired and are ready to welcome a new grandchild and offer our babysitting services!

Dear Birth Mother,
I am writing this letter on behalf of Cheryl and Pedro who are trying to become adoptive parents.
I have known Cheryl for more than fifteen years. I met her when she was an undergraduate student and I was a priest doing my doctorate at the same university. She used to come to my church on Sundays and I was always impressed by her sincerity and commitment to her faith. Her choice of career also clearly indicates how she values people and wants to serve others.
Over the last few years we reconnected and she asked me to celebrate her wedding to Pedro. I have come to know them as a couple. I can honestly say that they are a loving couple who manifest virtues of generosity, love and dedication. I have no doubt that they will make great parents.
I wish them well and pray that they will be given the gift of parenthood.

Dear Birth Mother,
Cheryl has been my closest friend for over 25 years. We met our freshman year in high school and we were roommates in college. She is many things – thoughtful, caring, funny and smart – and when she met Pedro, I knew she met her match! Pedro is considerate, warm and even-keeled. Together, they make a great pair.
Cheryl and Pedro have spent many hours with my children and are always patient and kind with them. Cheryl and Pedro remember every birthday and holiday with cards and presents that perfectly match their personalities. My children always look forward to seeing Auntie Cheryl and Uncle Pedro because they know there will be tons of stories, games and laughs.
Cheryl and Pedro will be wonderful parents. They are best friends who enjoy spending time with each other. They have created a warm and welcoming home together. They are devoted to each other and to their faith. I don’t have a single doubt in my mind that these qualities will serve them in embracing the challenges and rewards of parenthood.

Dear Birth Mother,
We are writing to tell you about Cheryl and Pedro and how they would make fantastic and loving parents to your child. Cheryl is my younger sister and I can tell you that she is a very caring person who has always been dedicated to her family and her friends. It tells you a lot about a person when you look at the quality of their friends and she has a great support system of friends and family and that was before she met Pedro. Together they are a loving couple who complement each other in many ways. They seem more and more in love with each other every time we see them.
Pedro has been a great addition to our family. Not only is he a really good guy, but he makes my sister very happy. Together they have purchased a beautiful home so they can raise their family in a safe and nurturing neighborhood. Also we cannot forget their awesome dog Bear. This cuddly creature is a great playmate for everyone.
We know that Cheryl and Pedro will make wonderful, loving and caring parents. Seeing them interact with their young niece and nephew would warm anyone’s heart but more importantly anyone seeing them together would immediately see a warm and loving couple.
